GOTHAM: Our Review
Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world’s greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon’s story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world’s most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker?Gotham is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller GOTHAM follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.GWN Online Writes: GOTHAM, the answer to a problem that eminated from the Movie Franchise: Restructuring The Batman.
Season 1 brought us the line-up of the many villains that have made Arkham City the way that it is, while in there we have Fish Moony, The Penguin, even The Joker. Flavors insist that GOTHAM is a new turnaround for Super Hero Films, and yet, not all that are intended to be immortalized will stand the test of time – DC’s Heroes of Tomorrow, a fine example.
Through Season 1 and now into Season 2, we have become grown to the custom that Alfred is an ex-British Soldier, that Bruce is a growing child with billions and still he has not reached Second Base with Salina, so where is he heading? Action, violence, jokes and even mystery has learned to drive “GOTHAM” into the hearts and minds of the viewers, and so too into the 3rd and 4th Seasons, too, as the Final Rise will come when the Boy becomes The Batman…
GWN Online Rating: 9.3/10 – Seriously good viewing.
